Played some more Pokemon FireRed today.
I got 3 badges (Volcano, Marsh, and Earth in that order) then caught the legendary birds just earlier. I somehow managed to get Zapdos with only one Ultra Ball. Articuno took roughly 60 and Moltres took 20 or so.

i only use normal poke balls get on my level

i was actually considering doing a playthrough like this because it looks odd in games like Pokemon Battle Revolution where i'm throwing out all of these funky poke balls and the opponent is throwing out just normal poke balls
