Been a Packer fan for a while. A good 4 years, which kinda counts for something since that's pretty much how long I've been watching football. I think Aaron Rodgers is an amazing quarterback, and that he had a better season than last (even though he didn't make the Pro Bowl this season..) and I'd really like for it to end with a Superbowl ring. He has the ability and skill to be one of the top QBs in the NFL, but I think the only thing separating him from big names like Brady, and Manning is playoff experience and most importantly, Superbowl wins and appearances. If he does win this Superbowl (and he will) it'll put him up there with other great Quarterbacks like those.
The Steelers' and Packers' defenses are a bit similar, and are both some of the best in the league (with the Steelers defense being ranked 2nd and 1st in the regular season and post season, respectively, and the Packers being ranked 3rd in the post season and 5th in the regular season in defense) so I think it'll be a pretty low scoring game, can't be more than 21 points from either side. I am aware of the fact that Ben Roethlisberger is 2-0 in Superbowls, which is pretty amazing considering he's only 28 years old (Rodgers is 27, and this is his first super bowl appearance) but I think with a tight defense and enough good decisions on offense, the Packers can come through. tl;dr PACKERS~ |
