on top of this, let's see a simulator of any kind run on a console.

To be honest, only driving simulators can run on such limited machines and the only one is Gran Turismo.

I'm pretty sure the Sims is on the consoles...

We're talking about actual Simulators, Roy.

USB controller users on PC shooters put the laughter in slaughter.

There's just no beating a keyboard/mouse configuration, unless you're dealing with a s*** port.

Exactly. There is absolutely no merit to using a USB controller because you are just going to get your a** handed to you. Although they are offered as an option, using a keyboard and mouse is the only way to get a good experience out of PC gaming.

Well, there are some exceptions. Don't try to play Assassin's Creed or The Last Remnant without a controller (but these games were pretty much MEANT for controllers, anyway.)

Anything where you have to aim, though, the analog stick just doesn't cut it.

Well, yes, console ports or games designed for the consoles are a definite exception. Most anyway. A lot of them were reworked for the PC like KoTOR.

Hmm, new consoles?

Bah, I'm busy completely my Sega collection.

I don't need the Billy Mays' PS4.

This is okay. I really do not want to buy a new console that soon.

As for PC vs Console, I personally play more games on consoles, but I only play on Wii (where a well-executed shooter can actually approximate, though maybe not emulate, the precision of a PC; Metroid Prime 3: Corruption).

Games like Morrowind and Oblivion are way better on PC than on consoles, if only for the player designed mods, many of which are very good. If you get a console port, you really miss out on a lot. Also, you need a PC for modding, too.

I did read about a FPS that had online mode that enabled Xbox 360 player to battle PC players, but I think there was a handicap system (or Xbox 360 players were advantaged), which is a really bad system in my eyes anyway.

I played Assassin's Creed just fine on the PC using WASD and mouse tyvm.

I believe it was called Halo 3. And it bombed.

Hah, no, I think it was some science-fantasy game... with quite strong links to conventional fantasy (races like elves and so on, not at all like Star Wars).

I remember a few of the Vista only exclusive ports used to have cross-platform multiplayer. I may be wrong.

Warhammer?

And honestly, since when is wanting new generations quickly a good thing? Especially when we've had like, four new nintendo handhelds in the last year or so.
