she is kind of a fighter though, in some games. smash always chooses to rep versions of her that are shown to have abilities, like melee used her oot self, and brawl used her tp self.

Yeah, and they'll most likely keep with her TP self for the 4th one...unless they manage to get another Zelda game out beforehand (which is highly doubtful).

They dont necessarily need to use the TP appearace again. They can still use the SS model, and just keep her current moveset, as when she was updated to TP, she didnt have anything new other than her Final Smash. Given this, she can use any appearance possible. The only "problem" with this, is what to do with Sheik, unless they update Sheik to SS art style as well, or simply remove Sheik entirely/make her a separate character.

Zelda's moveset isnt that canon to the series anyway, given her specials are never actually used by Zelda (although im sure she may be capable of performing them).

I'm highly doubtful. Ike was chosen to be the first 3D Fire Emblem lord, and as such he deserves to stay in for that merit.

Krom looks kind of cool, actually. Although it would be cool if they had both, I think there's only like a 5% chance of that actually happening. I would be happy with either one, really.

You never know, they don't HAVE to replace. They want to expand it, not keep it the same.

Roy was only removed because his moveset was a complete carbon-copy of Marth's and Sakurai obviously wanted to do away with clone characters considering that Dr. Mario and Pichu were completely removed and Falco was given a totally different moveset. Granted, they could have done the same thing with Roy and I'm not sure why they didn't but they probably just did it to replace him with Ike like they replaced Mewtwo with Lucario.
