So... what exactly are we looking at?

Some random request my usal requester asked for. It's suppose to be some sort of icy smash.

this was the desription
"Icy smash with cracks and peeling ground."


tried my best to match it. he needed it really fast thought. I'm taking some time off after spriting that fast.

Hey does anyone have any advice for making a huge crater effect? Any steps I can take to make this easier? I've already started but not enough progress to really show anything

Hey well I have wanted to study up more coding, but I have been draging my arse around with it lately, so I decided to put down spriting for a while and focus on coding more.

Remeber that crater effect I didn't know how to do well I started but I decided to finish it up later. It's been fun I'll be back, and maybe become a dev and crap. Well seeya oh wait I'll be in the coder paradise Yeah come there it you want to hear my super size ego for now on.

I like it. Smooth animations and everything. Question though, is he using his hand as a weapon or something?

Pretty cool sprite, only problem I see is the random hat tilt at the end.

Seriously I don't know but here the description I got from the requester.
"He pulls a slash out of his hat and throw it up in the air. The hat land on his head when the animation finish. He does 3 consecutive attacks."

So it's not a knife, blade, razor or anything metal that cuts.

Here is the basic slash attack ffor the character. I think I'll try something really advance next.

oh yeah almost forgot. The animation is in pieces I just combine 2 pieces together to make 1 whole. This is for combo perpose

Why is it so small though? Is that a specific style made by The Requester?

yeah he made the first and I made a huge expension. I wish it was bigger sometimes......

This request was difficult but I manage. I finally completed the Big a** crater effect.

At first sight, it strikes me as pieces of pie around a campfire rather then a crater. Can we perhaps see your reference?

The only thing I had to work off of is "Big a** crater" since the request was made so suddenly after my ice effect I decided to make it similar to the ice effect.
