I just had an idea, when you register on the forum you need to confirm your E-Mail right? Then why don't you have it instead go to a page that plays the flash, and then once it ends it redirects you to the E-Mail confirm place.
It would force you to watch it and might whittle down the n00b numbers.

Too complicated and probably easy to get around. Though I saw on one site they had a quiz that you had to take (that was actually pretty difficult) before you could post. It was based on the rules, and there were subtle answers that you could only get by looking at the rules. _________________Current project(s):

What's the point? New users never look at the rules, most of the time anyway. And we can't force them to watch it.

After a couple of days, it becomes clear who read the rules and who didn't. Perhaps mods should just be stricter.

If anybody posts a video, I assume it is a rick roll, mainly because the internet is not a safe place. Think about all the 12-13 year olds now, and the ONLY videos they have seen are over 9000, rick roll, etc. I sure as hell wouldn't click the link, neither would they. So we have to influence the video somehow without force, but at the same time making sure they watch it.
