On topic, PowerPuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends both sucked, so really, the reasoning for it being good is quite flawed and is completely subjective.

I said that the show gets better after the first episode. Also I used those shows as an example of what Lauren Faust has done in the past. And she does do a damn fine job at it.
