Rana's hand twitched. His eyes opened a tiny bit and he coughed pathetically. He was cold. He moved to cover his face from the light, but when he moved his arm he jerked back, rolled on his side and puked up nothing from the pain. He shut his eyes and grimaced. The pain was dull, throbbing. He had an arrow protruding from his right shoulder. Rana shivered and moved his left hand to the wound. His hand twitched and struck his torn skin, sending more pain through his arm. Rana looked around him. He couldn't see the others from where he was... "Tania... Tania, can you hear me?

Tania did not know what had become of her lance, she focused on her new task at hand, the boulder. Windy landed silently behind the boulder and Tania quickly dismounted, she looked up at the large boulder. "We have quite a bit of work cut out for us" she told Windy. She hopped, so she could see over the boulder and make sure they pushed it toward the Snie. Once she saw where she believed the Snie was she put her back against the boulder and pushed it, the boulder did not budge. Windy then trotted over then kicked powerfully with her hind legs whiled she pushed, still nothing. Tania frantically looked around for something to use, she found a fallen branch off a old tree and shoved part of it under the boulder and positioned a stone underneath the branch. She brushed aside her hair that had come loose from the braids "When I count to 3 you kick with all you got, ok?" Windy nodded. Tania climbed onto the branch that was sticking up in the air then counted "1-2-3!!" She jumped on 2 and landed on 3 while Windy's hind legs kicked the boulder, it creaked then rolled down the hill toward the Snie. She turned her face to the skies as if asking any god or goddess willing to listen, make sure the boulder hit the Snie or at least save her friends.

"Tania... Tania, can you hear me?"

Tania jumped, thinking that some god had heard her prayer and was now responding, she then realized that this message sounded familiar, perhaps it was Rana. She had no idea how she would respond..."Perhaps if I think 'loud' enough he'll be able to hear my thoughts" she said to Windy with a tremor of doubt in her voice. "Rana! Rana! Where are you?"

Serene saw Tania, and stood up. It was her fault Odinas had died. "You'll pay..." she muttered, anger in her eyes mixed with her tears. She turned herself to Black King, and saw the wounds, she looked up to his face, but he shook his head, telling her he was fine. She started walking, without Black King, over to Tania. She felt the cold snow, penetrating her footwear, and her feet were cold, but she continued walking.

Rana tried to breath steadily. He felt sick again, like he would pass out. When he head Tania speaking to Windy his lips made a shaky smile. She was close. "Tania... I don't know." Rana tried to push himself up with his good arm, but his shoulder screamed as he moved it and he collapsed.

The boulder tumbled down hill towards the Snie and anyone nearby. The Snie had taken a direct hit from Nechis's axe and Tara's dark magic. It stubled backwards as it was on it's last legs. The boulder barely missed Serene and sped further towards the creature. Eton stabbed the creature in neck and jumped away but got caught by the boulder, he felt a large pain in his ankle as he slammed into the wall of the valley. He looked at the Snie who had taken the boulder to the face. The monster lay there in a bloody mess. dead. Eton got up and felt a sharp pain. He had done something to his ankle, weather it was broken or just really sore. He limped over to Odinas's body and pulled the lance out. He closed his eyes, he felt upset about this and then looked at Serene who was heading to Tania, he needed to follow as he was worried she would do something extreme. He began to limp over to her.

"Serene....wait." he yelled.


Tekun looked at Tara who had done her part in stopping the creature, he was relieved, sighed and fell on his back and looked up at her. "You....you did well Tara..." He said breathing heavily. "You gonna be alright?"

Serene didn't hear Eton, she was too busy with her own affairs. "He wanted to help people...look how he ended up..." she said, loud enough for Tania to hear it. Her hair was getting in the way of her face, but she did nothing about it, that didn't matter to her at the moment, as she trudged on towards Tania, hands in the form of fists

Tania looked around worriedly "I knew I should have insisted he stay out of the battle" she told herself, she then gasped "What had become of poor Tekun?" She mounted Windy "Please let him be alright" she whispered. Windy flapped her wings, as they took off again, except at a low altitude so that they would be able to see where Rana was quickly. Windy's body was moist with sweat and Tania patted her steed's neck thankfully "I don't know what I'd do without you" she said gratefully. Tania's eyes spotted Serene approaching,"He wanted to help people...look how he ended up..." said Serene.

"Who just wanted to help people?" she thought, but she didn't want to waste time. "Hold on!" she yelled down at Tana "Rana needs help! I have to go save him!" She was slightly afraid of the expression that was on the girl's face but didn't wait for a response "Rana!" she yelled while flying over the land "Rana!"

Serene cursed as she watched Tania fly away. "I swear I'll make you pay!" she yelled at Tania, with tears in her eyes. She suddenly felt weird. "What's thi-" she was saying to herself, when she was suddenly cut off by herself, falling to the ground, and blacking out.

Eton managed to get to Serene in time before she hit the ground, barely catching her as he fell to one knee due to his ankle giving out on him. He held her in both arms. He was worried now, people didn't just collapse.

"Serene!" he yelled in a bit of a panic. "Serene...wake up..please."

Serene opened up her eyes slightly, seeing Eton. "Eton...I feel...weird...something inside of me...feels like it died..." she said. Her clothes started to get covered in blood from various areas. "My wounds...from 2 years ago...the same spots...how could they be opening up again?" she asked
Odinas was a miracle worker, but the catch of his power was that if he died, the people he healed would be stricken with the same pain they had before he healed them.

Eton took out the medicine that Serene had given him and began to apply all that he could to the reopening wounds. He was worried to death.

"I won't let you die on me." He said as he began treating what he believed to be the more serious wounds first. He remembered the story Serene had told him, from the sounds of things, her wounds were lethal and he dreaded the thought of her receirving those wounds again.

Windy's flying began to become rough, Tania felt a growing pain in her shoulder. She looked at Windy's left wing and part of it was stained red with blood. Windy's breathing came heavier as if each flap was an effort. Tania, clenching her teeth as her left arm shifted and sent a bolt of pain through her arm, landed Windy on the ground, her hoof a few centimetres off the ground. "What's going on?" she said gasping with pain "All our wounds...are back again"

Eton focused on treating Serene, he wasn't about to lose someone else. He treated what he could and then realized he had run out, he had none of his left. He pulled out his canteen and took a swig of water.

"Serene, your...your gonna be alright. ok." Eton said nervously.


Julius walked down the hall and then opened the door to find that it wasn't his room. Another mistake, or was it, did someone take his he wonder, then again, he was prone to these things.

"I'm sorry..I thought...this was my......room." He said hesitently and embaressed.
