with the recent news i noticed that there's no news topic or forum what-so-ever, so i decided to make one

as much as i hate to start the first post with this, the recent attack in France is very unfortunate. i can't imagine how long that 10 minutes felt.

dunno what ten minutes you're referring to, I know the hostages at the Eagles of Death Metal concert were there much longer

That part speaks to me especially, by the way. Since I spent the whole summer working security at similar rock concerts

"We lied down on the floor not to get hurt. It was a huge panic. The terrorists shot at us for 10 to 15 minutes. It was a bloodbath."

I was actually searching for the News Section last night to make a topic about this.

I was about to wrap up work and go to bed when my sister apped me something terrible was going on in Paris, so I turned on the TV to watch a special news broadcast that updated the situation as it went by.

It was a terrible situation, especially if you consider that the 'Charlie Hebdo shootings' are still relatively fresh and immeditaly came to mind to many an European. The devastation and pure fear shown on the video footage was terrifying. From what has been reported the terrorist in the Bataclan theatre just mowed down a large portion of the people they kept hostage in cold blood.

It was pretty surreal situation, as many bystanders have described. The coming months will be very difficult for the French people, as much my thoughts to go out to every individual one of them. So many are still injured and in critical condition but I hope they will pull through and recover fro the scars.

Bombings across Bagdad, Lebanon and now in Paris again as well, it's scary. It seems like there is no end to it.

not to mention earthquakes in mexico and japan going on around the same time. it was f*** nuts yesterday.

my heart goes out to the people of france and baghdad and lebanon : ( this sucks a lot

Their should only be medical staff involved with the mental health system. "Techs" are the most evil people in the world usually. Some of them literally only work there to get laid or to help their self esteem by preying on their mentally ill prisoners

I have met literally one person at a mental hospital who treated my sister & me as if we were anything more than an inconvenience
