Does it only work on thrown projectiles?

You have to get the timing right. I've even tried it on Meteor and Full-Charge Getsuga Tensho. Other people have done shadow clones and Mario Finale.

I feel as though chibi-robo has the grab range that link, samus and zero suit samus should have.

But those to me don't feel like grabbing characters. Anyway, I feel like chibi is a strong counter against Mario. His final smash can be captured, his fireball as well, and his melee attacks are outranged by chibi-robo himself.

I found a glitch with his down special : if Chibi-robo get hit when he pick up/throw a projectile, the projectile will stand in place and have no hitbox... but you can pick it up again !

Chibi-Robo is now one of my mains and Is a great addition to the SSF2 Roster! He owns you while cleaning the battlefield (4), I don't know anyone who can do that (besides some guy who likes to fight with cleaning tools maybe?)

Can someone make a video of two Chibi Robo making a Tennis Match with Mario Finale? Maybe if the first Chibi will grab the FS, Mario can unleash the second FS which second Chibi Robo will grab? Two Mario Finale Throws at once...just wow.

Haha the toothbrush is so good. It makes his horizontal recovery godlike, it has huge range (disjoint, even longer than Marth's sword), and it cleans the stage too. It doesn't do much dmg, it doesn't have much KB/hitstun, and it doesn't set up for combos (I think). I imagine it would be very good for edgeguarding because of its good properties tho.

You know the music that plays when using Chibi Robo's side special? I love it. I wish it was extended though, it only plays for about 15 seconds :(

Has anyone noticed that Chibi-Robo's NSpecial is spammable? Just hold it down...

Luckily it's only 2% per shot, and you can't turn 180° so it isn't overpowered. But it is a nice secret though.

Didn't see that, good to know, but it is to me as it gives chibi a reliable counter to Jigglypuff, Kirby and Meta Knight

Chibi has epic mobility; overall long-range, for his small size. But he's got pretty low damage output overall, aside from Neutral-air = 8-13 per hit, Front-Smash = 19% close, 14% far, Back-air = 14%. Nair is probably his main tool. Many things as tilts, aerials, up & down throws, can be followed-up with Nair (or another moves). He gets a lot of free follow-ups for combos. If you focus on that, he can build-up percent fast.

He can short his laser to landing-cancel it. It'll stun him long-enough to do a possible Grab setup from a mid-far range distance. Those two moves compliment each others' uses very well.

He's a very interesting and well made character. I look forward to using him a lot.

Nair has a weird angle at startup though, makes hitting small characters like Mario alot harder.

That grab needs ending lag, now.

He's a very cool character really, lotsa options and overall just plain fun.

Pros:
Quite fast in general.
Horizontal recovery works like Puff's (it's great).
Great combo game.
Grab outranges almost every non-projectile move in the game.
Grab game is amazing.
Small target.
Heavy for his size.
Can literally use projectiles against you.
Decent edgeguarding game.

Cons:
Mostly has low damage output.
Vulnerable to most combos, juggles, and chaingrabs.
Vertical recovery is lacking.
Can't camp with normal projectile.

In the end, the only thing I ask is that you put some ending lag and maybe a bit of startup lag on that grab of his. Some people can only react so quickly to punish.
