Instend of sticking all the topics, how about sticking a list topic of "official" topics in that section?

*Change your name
*Your favorite user
*How did you find MCG
*Funny pics
*Funny videos
*Leaving/returning topic (attention, contains whorism)
*etc,etc,etc.

That way you could:

A) Prohibit the creation of more topics like those.
B) Un-stick unnecesary sticks

BTW: what happened to the announcement in the ideas section?

Well... In sections where the mods do their jobs e__e

“Official” is a vague term. In this case, as the people “in charge" of taking care of the forum (and therefore the “leaders” of the forums) decide which topics enter in those lists, it can be called official.

And no, is not the same… first because there is no list provided which could help us to avoid the creation of unnecessary topics. Second, because there a lot of stickys which could be easily removed from there, without generating any kind of harm.
