That was awful at first but I got used to it.
I still poke fun at it though.

The only real problems I had with it is that Emil and Marta can make the game too easy, and that the quote is repeated too much at first.
And LOL flashbacks.

Nah, that was everyone that was NOT them.

Also, I need a crash course in Lloyd comboing, I've lost my rhythm, and Demon Fang/Tiger Blade/Sword Rain: Alpha isn't working loads.

Emil and Marta are the only two characters that are free with their equipment and level (up to 200). Every Symphonia character has their level locked depending on where you get them in the game. For example, when you get Colette, she'll be locked at level 10 with normal chakrams and all that fun stuff. She'll leave for quite some time, and when you get her again, she'll be ~level 38 with the same equipment. At the end of the game, you have most of the Symphonia cast with them all at level 50 and new equipment.
The first playthrough I had, I always had the original cast in my party when I could, but the rest of the playthroughs, I had monsters in place of them. The main upside they have over monsters is that they can use items, but meh.

By the way, the reason I said that Emil and Marta make the game too easy is that they are so broken when they get to semi-high levels. Emil's comboing goes to ridiculous amounts, especially when in the air, and Marta can insta-cast anytime with the right skills and equipment (which makes her more broken than Rita in my opinion) making her pretty much unstoppable.

Accelerate and speed cast... I have completed the game many many times, but I will never use those two skills again. Or maybe I will for some other purpose than being broken. If that is even possible.

Picked up TotA now that my PS2 can read disks again and I'm having fun.
Fought Nebilim (which I tried to get done two weeks ago) and stole the Tutti core on the first Swallow Fury I did. And now my Nebilim does a lot more damage than even Soul Crush.
EDIT: I finished the game last night and oh my God was that ending satisfying.
EDIT 2: Playing Tales of Legendia now, it's really fun and I'm enjoying it.

Hey guys, what's a good Exsphere set-up for Sheena, I'm gearing up for the Volt fight and I'm making sure she can be useful.

Volt isn't that strong. Lol. You could fight him with Colette also in your party. Now when you get to Gnome, you best get your s*** together.

Not cause he's strong, I jsut want to make things interesting. Since I want to have a go at using Sheena without god-awful results, since using Llyod/Kratos is way too easy for me.

To be honest, I'd look up a guide for all of Sheena's skills, then mixing and matching to see which ones fit you best.
Something tells me you're playing as Sheena for poetic justice?

I'm pretty sure the game forces you to play with Sheena for the Summoning battles

Yes it does. It can be annoying at times when you don't want to use her in the area though.
