Ryu doesn't feel like he fits imo but seeing him in action slightly changes my mind. And Snake didn't really fit all that well but the gritty style of Brawl helped him some
Tbh Ryu is the third party that shocks me most. He just doesn't seem like he fits for Smash, being a fighter character and all. I don't mind him and again seeing him in action helps, but he still looks just a little out of place. a lot of people want Roy back. in fact, the cuts are very popular. I want every cut back just so that nobody is "left out" so to say. I don't even care for Ice Climbers, Squirtle, Ivysaur, or Pichu but I still want them back |

What I got from how its described, is that its not a counter, but can be used as one. I imagine it working sort of like Lucario and Greninja's alt down specials that have them auto attack but at the same time gives them a few frames of invincibility. Ah i see, so maybe its similar to Mac's smashes then, just with the armor on charging and not on startup.

I get what you mean by "out of place." You mean he seems to...'realistic' to be in the same quota as Yoshi, or Ness. I can't word it properly :l |
