yeah i think the reason why the head looks weird is because i used mario as a reference for proportions when i should of used an actual photo of sonic instead.

If I may give you a tip; add a frame of build up or so to improve the overall 'snap' of the animation. Attacks rarely have consistant speed and pace throughout the duration.
