This. And Mewtwo isn't decent at all. There's only like one Mewtwo main and he uses Marth as a secondary.

Yeah basically it kind of depends on what you define as "best thrower" - if you mean like most knockback on a throw, uh... maybe? I mean Ice Climbers have the best grab combo because Wobbles and the handoffs and all the grab setups and whatnot, Marth has chaingrabs on the spacies, so does Ganondorf, hell Shiek has the dthrow tech chases... what does Mewtwo have?

I am talking in terms of knockback. Mewtwo's B-Throw and U-Throw are definitely two of the best.
And in terms of chaingrabbing, Mewtwo's D-Throw can chain grab, if used correctly (that and the opponent doesn't air dodge). Like, use the one that doesn't propel them horizontally, and if they move, use his dash and grab.

Oh right, I forgot about the Mewtwo D-throw to dtilt. It's strong, definitely doesn't make him one of the best throwers.

Mewtwo has B-throw and U-throw for killing, D-thorw for chaingrabs, and he has decent grab range. His grabgame isn't bad, but it is far from being the best in the game.
Also, I love how he is against tiers, yet he's talking about chaingrabs.

I gotta agree, Marth is a great character, despite his shortcomings like: -Short range -Timing with attacks -And his D-Throw (which should have been his B-Throw)
But he does have advantages: -Combo potential -Powerful attacks (depending on position of hitbox) -Fast attacks -and more that I cannot list.
@Zapperix: Look, I don't like tiers, but it doesn't mean I can't use certain tactics once in a while (mainly to catch other players that are like me off guard). I have been against them since only 2007.

uh... short range? do you mean no projectile? because marth has an excellent range with his disjointed hitbox attached to his arm (cough cough sword). he has a lot of chaingrabs, he has a lot of mobility, he's one of the best characters in the game by far. i'm going to go out on a limb and say that when you say "you don't like tiers", you really mean you're just salty that they put mew2 so low.

Falco could possibly be better than Fox actually. But I prefer Fox at n°1 position anyway. I feel having better floaty MUs are so much more valuable, than Falco's better performance against fast fallers (who Fox beat anyway). But Falco is currently said to have slight advantage over Fox. Maybe... but no more than a 55-45, imo. Those stupid lasers should be more played around, but powershielding is quite hard.
Anyway, tier talking is for competitors.

1. I am talking about no projectiles, yes. 2. I am not salty because they put Mewtwo so low, I just don't like Zelda and DK being higher than Roy and Mr. G&W. And I am still miffed that Pikachu isn't even top 5 (he does have potential to be top 5)

you don't like that they're there, or you disagree? because there's very solid reasons why Roy and G&W are so bad in this game. and while lack of projectile hurts, it's hardly impossible to get around in Melee. especially considering that Final Destination is one of Marth's strongest counterpicks due to the fact that his chaingrabs on the main projectile characters (Fox/Falco) can go unimpeded while you can powershield and dodge lasers.

Well, I just don't like where they stand. I think they are fairly decent at the least. And enough of the tier talk (sorry for starting it, BTW), we've established I am an anti-tier who uses certain tactics.
As for Marth. One word: FABULOUS!

Roy is only good for one thing and that's edgeguarding, which most of the cast is better at anyway. G&W has a garbage approach because he can't L-cancel all of his aerials, so his only approach is F-air (which gets predictable).
Zelda has a good punishment game with F-air and B-air. DK has his B-air for spacing and lots of kill moves. Also, these characters had their metagame, so we know what they are capable of. Roy and G&W also had their metagame developed, but they are still underwhelming.
