I was just pointing out that if you wanted to use an example, use a good one. In any case, I suck at image editting and photoshooping anyway so it doesn't make a different what program I use.

Yes.. because a product that is sold for money being downloaded off the internet for free is totally legal :hmph:
(In other words no proof = no belief in it)

Not how it works

You can legally download a 30 day trial off the internet which can be made permanent with a code provided after purchase.
People who use it illegally get a code off someone else. The download is legal, the amount of time used it for is not.

@SecretGamer: Are you serious? Here, go on, make this on GIMP:
Shadow
That was made by me on Photoshop, and there is no way I could of done it (or at least not to that level of quality) on GIMP.
Your signature doesn't prove anything. You got a picture, some text, a couple of jpged sprites and slapped them on top of each other. A 9 year old could of done that on Paint. Oh my god, it's painful to see people say that GIMP has anything over Photoshop. GIMP's interface is disgusting when compared with Photoshops. GIMP's interface isn't half bad if you know how to use it huh? Well, it just so happens that I DO know how to use it, and it still doesn't compete with Photoshop.

People who complain about interface and GUI usually don't know how to get what they want from it.

Except I fully understand GIMPs interface, and don't like it. Photoshops on the other hand does everything GIMP does, more, and is better set out. It even has like 15 different interfaces to switch between, called workspaces.

Everyone takes software design for granted.

If you don't think GIMP is that good put this into perspective, that's how I made my SSF2 Flasher Card (in signature)
Here's the site:
http://www.gimp.org/

Let me put this in to perspective, I certainly am not convinced by looking at your Flasher Card. Its too dark and I can't read most of the text.

Let me put this into perspective (The 3rd perspective :shifty: ), I suck at using GIMP/Animating (Practice makes perfect though :D) But if you could see some of the things that people can do with GIMP it would amaze you, trust me, if you people really want more proof and haven't heard of a magical thing called Google I can get some examples of awesome pictures made with GIMP

EDIT: Whoops the reason why my signature was black was because I didn't see the file to have white text in flasher card, that was my bad , now if you look at my signature everything is clearly readable, and yes, made using GIMP Oh btw I said GIMP arguably better than Photoshop, a.k.a that's in my opinion, it may vary on whether or not you consider price a factor (Photoshop costing 70+ dollars and GIMP being free)

You don't consider price a factor while I do, that's all there is to it

Oh I do. But the thing is, Photoshop can be free. And besides, earlier on, you said:
GIMP is free, and arguably better than Photoshop. This implies that it being free was being considered as a seperate factor to how good it was.

Illegally downloading Photoshop does not mean getting Photoshop for free, that's like someone saying they got a DS for free because they stole it from a store, also I made a gramatical error... quick call the grammar cops :hmph:
