I need help with creating a SSB type fighting game. I just need to get it started, and when I saw this topic, I thought this was the place to ask. I could not find a single tutorial, and I have to work with Adobe flash CS4 professional. I have absolutley no experience with flash, but I am very smart and experienced with computers, so I will probably be able to figure it out pretty quickly. All I ask is that someone points me in the right direction. (For the record, I also tried to go to the old forums to look at tutorials, but its down.) Thank you for your time.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't really word this correctly. I need tutorials for how to work with CS4 specifically. I know you guys get the whole "SSB" question a lot, but I just need to know how action script works in CS4 professional.

Your best bet would be to use stencyl. Visual programming for flash. Physics are handled, and a destructible background shouldnt be hard.

You could use the Adobe Pro CS4 Paperback help book if you need help learning how to use Flash. I don't have it, but if it's published by the people who made Flash, I would assume it would be really helpful.

Its like $30 on Amazon.
