Red, Blue and Yellow disagree.

I still play my game boy colour to this day, never have I been able to sit down with SS or HG for more then 4 hours in a row.

I have Yellow and I would gladly play Crystal any day

Gen II totally kicks all the other gens asses in every way

Now that I remembered a simple yet important fact (You can go back to the previous region after beating the elite 4) then ya GSC take the cake, but I still prefer to return to RBY especially Yellow so I can have Pikachu follow me around.

I really liked the G/S/C series the best. The whole interactive mother with her constant buying of useless items while saving your money in the bank account was all too real for me with a Pokemon game. I also liked the rematch system that they introduced. I liked R/B/G/Y, but G/S/C really sold Pokemon for me. FR/LG was pretty boring imo, it felt so slow-paced, and it was Gen I with better graphics. R/S/E was a close second to G/S/C, and D/P/P was ok. I've gotten sick of Pokemon now, and I don't even want to play B/W.

I like all the center Pokémon RPG games, I mean (Crystal, Emerald, Yellow and Platinum (In my order from best to worst))

All from different reasons...

Crystal, it's just badass, I mean, the 2nd generation contains the most of my favorites Pokémon, You can go throught Johto and Kanto, You can do almost everything in there and catch almost every Pokémon from I - II generation

Emerald, has best graphics than Ruby and Sapphire, has more Pokémon available from the I to III generation, you can explore a lot and you can receive a lot of II generation Pokémon in the Safari Zone and other parts and when the Pokédex is completed Birch will give you an Initial Pokémon from the 2nd generation...

Yellow, It can be said that all like to have Pikachu as follower, The story is incredible and it's easy and glitchy but entertaining

Platinum, It's good, I like it, It's difficult in many ways nonetheless you can got almos every Pokémon in-game and trading it's almos not necessary, just the R/S/E cassetes inserted on the back of the DS
