with a garbage s*** awful third party controller that sucks. No way am I buying an adapter for that pos I'll get one of the new ones when they start releasing Gamecube Virtual Console games @NU I didn't have a gamecube so I'm not really partial to the controller (hell, I used a Wiimote in Brawl for years). Pro controllers work fine for Smash, I had no problems with them at Smashfest.

gc controllers are actually the best for smash though. pro controller is fine, but gc has the layout that best lets you make the most of all your movement and attacking options without moving your hands around more than necessary. def worth picking one up dude, you'll grow to love it super quickly.

Don't forget I only play Smash pretty casually anyway
I played with the wiimote for years after all lmao
It's not like I've never used a GC controller, but at my level it's pretty much on par with the Pro
Plus the pro ones are out now and work for most games and have a battery life that's absolutely ridiculous so

The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection is free on Origin for the week. It's got all the expansions and item packs; the product code is I-LOVE-THE-SIMS. You know, if anyone gives a s***.

Portal 2 is $5 until the 22nd. I don't know why you wouldn't have this game already, but.

There's some pretty good sales going on Steam today and this week. The Bridge is $1 today and tomorrow, and it's a great little puzzle game with a good art style. In the weekly sale, there's Deponia for $2, which is a great point and click, and Insecticide, a cool adventure game/third person shooter for 30 cents. (Unfortunately, it's an unfinished game, as opposed to the DS version.) I don't know about The Journey Down or Tiny Bang Story, but I've heard good things about them.

Insecticide is a game I've had some pretty bad experiences with. That being said, I never got past the first... 4 levels, I suppose. It certainly isn't a game that's aged well. It tries to be like Psychonauts at so many parts, and it just fails. I've also had a lot of compatibility issues with it that only can be fixed by running in the smallest windowed mode available. I tried Tiny Bang out when I was younger (2 years ago) and remember it being decent. You could do a lot worse for the price, too.

This weekend's Steam sale is Microsoft Studios, which means Age of Empires and Age of Mythology, the one Halo game on Steam, the three Twisted Pixel games on Steam, and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.

http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-War- ... XGBQVGE2MW$5 for War for Cybertron - totally worth it. The game's rad and probably the most enjoyable third person shooter I've ever played. Haven't tried Fall yet but it's $12, so that's nice.
