Pretty epic opening. And all around good music. But I can't say it sounds very different from a lot of music I've heard.

I'd give it a 2.5/5.
It's not bad, I suppose, but it's only typical Sonic stuff and some of the choice of instrument is questionable. YouTube Video:

I like it! That beat is hot, and that's a pretty catchy melody, but it's a tad too repetitive to justify being 6:09. Taking that aside and just judging off of the song's merits..
