I say the cloud Lakitu rides on is the killer. Think about it no one would ever expect it, he commits a few murders and watches things play out where nobody expects him to be. Also being with Lakitu most of the time gives him exclusive news that they don't mention on T.V. Like were police or mob members will be meeting and when. He just watches things play out grinning, hiding in plain sight. Of course that's just a halve a** theory. Other than that I think it could be Olimar. My favorite character so far would have to be Mario. Such a dark and brutal character personality on one of the most cheerful video game characters I can think of. It's oddly appealing. Also the fact he doesn't wear his hat yet Luigi does is weird.

I am of the opinion that it's Samus.

Though I don't have strong evidence, go watch the Dedede episode again. Luigi and Pauline go to try and break up the fight between Mario and DK, but Samus stops midway, grabs the curtain, and turns around. Just a coincidence that Dedede happens to die right after that?

But, meh, I agree with Tid as well. Pit is a really good theory, too.

And, think about this: Why does the butcher NEED a motive? The Joker didn't have a motive, he just sort of did it because he could. How do we know the butcher isn't any different? Why would he gain anything from killing Pichu and Roy?

He would probably gain fear from the people in the city when they report the murders on the news and the attention of the police witch gives him the opportunity to lead them in the wrong direction. I don't see how it could be Pit though. Unless he lied about only calling Captain Falcon. He could be one of the main suspects of killing Dedede. And he does have that bow that splits into two swords so he has to be good with blades. You know I change my mind, Pit could be the killer. But I like my Cloud theory better.

We know he has a motive because Kirby said he did. And I dunno, I somewhat trust Kirby...

Kirby seems like the type to say a few lies for his own s****. I think its more than likely that the butcher has no motive. Kirby didn't.

I have a feeling its metaknight. no one suspects him, plus he's obsessed with kirby and his killings. he's all mysterious and we cant tell if he's good or evil, he just spends all his time with kirby. think about it...

If he spends all of his time watching Kirby then when would he have the time to kill?

Nah that's not quite right. Metaknight has no place in the story other then to keep Kirby contained. Think like a writer. He's not the guy we're looking for.

I feel like no one watches metaknight and therefore he could get away easily. and it would be a great plot twist. The Honorable Jailer gone copycat killer. Plus the killer is taking thier skins. What would anyone need skins for? Except metaknight. Because hes of similiar shape to Kirby and is obsessed with the kirby killings. and no one really knows if he's watching kirby all the time. Other characters just dont have strong enough motives or it doesnt fit thier style...Hmm.

OMG Kirby needs skins. You know, how there's the whole "Kirby Hats" thing?
