I don't think it's so much that Kirby's good as much as it is you're good with him, to the point of being a specialist. Your performance with him is a good part of why he's even gotten as high as he is.
If you think there's even more to him, then by all means, please keep exploring. That's how the game grows.

I feel the same way, its like with Chaunch and his Jiggs. Though for the life of him, he can't play another character on the same level.

The cast is diverse enough that tons of people will find it easier to play low-tiers: it's not like Melee where even if you really like playing Kirby you're still not as good as if you play Fox. Mid-tiers are the same way. It's why tier lists like these can be really detrimental to new players at least in my experience: if you like edgeguarding and zoning, play Black Mage even if MK is better. If you like aerial play and reading jumps to kill offstage, play a puffball. If you like patient play with explosive punishes, Wario will suit you. The fact that some people really jibe with bad characters doesn't make them good, but it makes SSF2 far more complete and balanced.

I would say SSF2 at the current moment is closer to 64 in that even low tiers are strong.

Yeah that what's why Sheik is lower then MK, she loses to him and is only the disjointed character that she actually loses to.

Sheilda is more bearable due to Sheik being involved, but just Zelda on her own is enough to give MK trouble. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for Zelda's combos, even on a light and below average faller like MK, she can still combo him to death. The priority in her attacks even give his disjointed range trouble and her lightning kicks, both fair and bair, can go through his fair which makes him have trouble approaching her.

Also why did you guys decide to get rid of S tier?

S Tier as a whole was something we didn't feel to be necessary anymore as there were no characters that felt like dominating picks in the cast. Almost all of the top tiers have a losing matchup (or two, depending on the character) and the variety of success we've seen both from different players and characters both contributed to the opinion that no characters truly dominated the metagame. Because of this, we didn't think S-Tier was necessary, as only the really dominating picks tend to go in that tier across the games (e.g. Fox/Falco/Sheik/Marth in Melee, MK/Icies in Brawl etc.)

To put it simply, the philosophy right now is that the extremes of S tier and F/K tier are for when the balancers have flat-out screwed up. They can be amusing to see and can create some interesting discussions, yeah, but should be used sparingly.

Putting someone in S tier, to the average eye, creates the illusion that they can't possibly be stopped and would be unfair to choose. Putting someone in F/K tier creates the illusion that they might as well not even be in the game for all the worth they have. So we're saving those for when that actually is the case and wouldn't simply be an illusion.

Peach is always rated low. That's not gonna change until Beta, I did as much as I could with her in 0.9b XD

Well remember you left for a while and then Kyoz took over. Also Chibi's meta was progressing and found out peach lost to him. Peach kept losing more mus, which you didn't post on your channel remember. So nope.

You telling me to go back to Sora or TyranitarLord? Cuz the last time I had a Sora was 0.8a....Also there are videos of me losing to SS's Chibi as Peach. There wasn't any particular reason as to why I didn't post the vids. I also don't think her losing to Chibi (which I do agree with) means she's low tier. I think there are other MUs that she wins that everyone else thinks she doesn't win, but every time I try to explain myself everyone just attacks me and says I'm blind so that's why I stopped giving my opinion about her.

When I went in the chat and posted my opinion of her MU chart, no one really seemed to like it. The video was from a while back btw so thats probably why its hard to find XD

She beats Samus, Puff, Ness, Yoshi, Kirby, Sora and can go toe-to-toe with CF, Goku, Link, BM and Bbm IMO, but those last 5 are extremely controversial lol
