Did you guys give :chibirobo: the invincibility when using his Down special pick up on purpose? I do know in Smash4 village gets invincibility on his Pocket witch is just like Pick Up.

When we started the redesigns for Final Destination, we were also working on other crystal-heavy elements, and we figured the crystal designs had not been used for other iterations of the stage. Also, crystals can be done with both spriting and Flash effects, and they are rather light in terms of performance. And they look beautiful too, so.

Indeed (and obviously, to be honest). Intangibility is there to protect Chibi during the storage of the projectile, for example, to avoid a projectile user from forcing Chibi into the pick up animation to punish it. I mean, Chibi should not be punished for succeeding at catching a projectile :P
