if they cost more to produce than they can make up by selling them there's no reason to keep them of course they're gonna be discontinued eventually but it's not even been three weeks holy s*** |

I wouldn't be surprised by some of the Amiibos getting discontinued, but Villager in particular caught me off guard. I mean, presumably they'll make an Animal Crossing U title, so I figured they'd want to keep the Villager in production for extra features.
Honestly, I assumed Sheik or Ike would die before Villager. Maybe even Mega Man. Somehow I feel like Shulk could still survive long enough for the next Xenogears release. And I wish Toon Link was playable in Hyrule Warriors. That would be hilarious. _________________

That note is misleading, no Amiibo figure has been discontinued yet, what Nintendo said is that it will someday cease the production of the less popular amiibos but that currently isn't happening now.

I think the Wii U in general is harder than the 3DS
I suspect this might somehow be due to the stronger console having more capable AI But that doesn't seem to make a ton of sense so idk |

Little things make the Wii U version much harder. I sent over my custom Link that I used to beat level 9 classic on the 3DS and he got stomped on U level 9. I had to rebuild him and change strategies entirely before I DID finally clear the U's level 9
