To the gold/platinum club nintendo members, what reward did you or are you going to redeem?

I just redeemed Donkey Kong Country Returns 3d. I've always wanted to play it. Takes up so much space though.

i got game & wario also apparently people are dissapointed this year with the rewards being games instead of trophies or figures.

Yeah I sort of am too, I miss the cool physical rewards club nintendo used to have.

I have a Mario Kart trophy sitting on my shelf if you feel like being jealous

I am disappointed because I like physical goodies. Even if it's kinda dumb like the trading cards or just boring like the MM soundtrack

Still, it's a free game I guess. I don't really want any of these though. How's Game & Wario, I guess?

Game & Wario is a Wii U tech demo and not much more

Not worth paying money for but if it's free then I guess it might be okay for a while

It's alright. I don't really like it. It's kinda fun when you have people over, or to play as a family game.

Do you not want Donkey Kong because you already have it? If not I highly recommend it, i'm loving it so far. So much fun and best of all, it's actually a challenge.

Or just get Earthbound if you haven't played it.

Already played DK on Wii and frankly I'd like a physical copy of it

And I could emulate Earthbound easily

Can't emulate it in bed though

I prefer physical copies too, but it's nice to have a virtual library also. I also have a huge sd card so I don't mind the big files.

The only one I really even considered redeeming was Donkey Kong Country.

Digital games are nice when it's a game that would be beneficial to have on you at all times

Like Mario Kart for quick multiplayer, for example. Or WarioWare for brief gameplay. Or Pokemon

But DKCR is a totally single player game, so

I'd rather have a neat box for my shelf

That box isn't worth $30 extra though so that's only a small point

Except for when you're playing multiplayer.

And I hear you, I wouldn't have purchased it, but hell it was free.

or any portable game at all because then you don't have to carry around a bunch of cards if you go somewhere

I don't ever carry cards for single player games unless it's a game I'm currently playing

@NU forgot about that. It's not really the focus though and it's obviously not my go to game for multiplayer lol

I wish it had download play multiplayer ;_;
