If someone who genuinely wanted to use it to be identified accurately asked for it then i'd be 100% all for it, but you guys only want the option to use as a joke.

Im also confused as to how this would work would it be like a long list of classes of of some MMORPG?

in general it's a load of regressive tumblr s*** that sets the actual trans movement back and erases the existence of gender dysphoria which is a very real, serious mental illness

but really an "other" gender option wouldn't hurt if there's enough demand i guess

Pretty much this. I'd be fine with an other option, but not a blank slate to fill in.

why do we even have a gender field in the first place

why does letting people know what our gender is matter?

it's not like correcting them if they get it wrong is that big of a deal
