Pug dashes at Haingi, aiming to smack him.

Haingi had been preparing for that move, and dashed forward right when Pug started toward him. He quickly conjured up a tiny Cero in his left hand, hiding it with his body.

Pug recoils, and falls on his sitting muscle.

Haingi didn't see that coming, but he quickly slid his feet out in front of him but a little toward his left, touching his fingers to the ground and making a quick turn toward Pug. Unfortunately, though, his hand slid out due to the slick floor and he crashed, accidentally firing the Cero so it broke through the brittle floor all the way from the center out to the corner, allowing plenty of space for water to come through and make the floor even harder to maneuver on. He ended up on his stomach with his left hand pointed forward toward where the Cero had passed through the floor and went out to the ocean, soon to run out of energy and die out. He quickly realized that instead of his trick attack helping him, it just backfired and put him into a weak position. He floundered to get up, bet kept slipping and falling back down. He hoped Pug was having the same troubles, if not worse.

Pug uses his nails to get a somewhat firm grip and get up onto his knees. Pug punches at Haingi, slipping afterwards.

Haingi gets punched right after he finally stands, and falls again. This time, instead of flopping around aimlessly, he pulls out his sword and stabs it through the floor, using that to support him while getting up. Once he's on his feet, he pulls it out and sheathes it again. He then moves in on Pug once more, and... slips. He lands on his back this time, hitting his head. He groans, and starts to pull out his sword.

OOC: What is the platform made of?

*OoC: i dunno... something slick and brittle... maybe some sort of hardened ceramic?

OOC: I was hoping Metal, lol
Pug slides over to haingi and tries smaking him again.

Haingi slides away, but reaches to try and grab Pug's wrist before he gets out of reach.

Pug is grabbed, but electrifies his wrist.

Haingi quickly pulls his hand back, but he takes his sword and stabs it into the ground next to Pug, pulling himself up on the handle and lifting his leg to try and stomp on Pug.

Pug slides out of the way, and steadies himself upright.

Haingi thinks for a few seconds, then pulls his sword out and starts running through the now half-inch-deep layer of water on top of the already-slick platform toward Pug. He starts jabbing at Pug, trying to hit something like his leg or arm. Something to disable, but not kill, Pug.

Pug jumps above haingi, and puts his electrified hand down, trying to knock him out.
