Plus Lucas can't be the final character, he isn't even a newcomer, unless he's a secret reveal.

All I know is the video is still on their twitch channel. Its hella weird and the voice in the background sounded distorted but I know its saying a name

just for hindsight, there's a lost theme in mother 3 which you could hear in the background, hence the reference

I just watched the recorded stream
Two Ghost Ness' staring eachother down
Giygas' literally everywhere
And occasionally, a Mother 3-style Dialogue box pops up with Messages.
Some include;
"You remember something you forgot.
Wait...this isn't your memory."
"You think about how much you miss your dad."
"Ness, Ness, Ness, Ness, Ness, Ness, Ness, Ness, Ness, Ness"
"You feel a soft breeze.
It smells like Sunflowers."
References to Mother 2 and 3, Giygas, fighting in someone else's memory...

dude I don't even know anymore, let's just say that there's a good chance the next character is Earthbound/Mother releated.

Someone might be able to fix the sound so you can her what's being said.



If this is the case then the character would probably be Ninten, however I can't see him or Porky having unique ways of using their specials and smash attacks.

honestly, until later today (dang,i should be in bed by now) we have no explanations. though I would count these 2 characters out though.

The Giygas Stream creeped me out

Well that stream was fun to watch.

I say Ninten or Masked Man.

Anyway, I'm clueless what this video points to, if anything. Only thing sufficiently unorthodox and objectionable is Giygas himself, and I doubt they'd reveal the character before revealing the character.

Unless Gygas is actually an unlockable character in Beta, instead of being revealed today.
