His MU with link might not be good considering Links ariels being more versatile and the ground game in general

His D-throw looks a lot stronger than in SSB4. Wonder if it's still an effective combo throw?

They also didn't show his FS. Will it be Poltergust 5000 or Negative Zone?

I think Luigi could potentially beat Link

Especially if Luigi has grab combos, or long combos in general since Link is so big. Not to mention his fireballs will probably atleast clank with Link's projectiles.

His fireballs clanking boomerang would even out the mu but thats sort of a jump. I dont think luigi's fireballs will be powerful enough to cancel links projectiles.

Since luigi's fireballs are the same sprite color as mario's and if luigi's fireball were powerful enough to cancel his projectiles then it should have some change in color. But its not so I dont think his range game with link will be very good. Lots of characters with range that are overpowered by link need to get in close and I dont think its that hard.

His grab combos (if he has any) on link would be links end since he is easy to combo overall. Boomerang punish with luigis ariels will be neat. yea maybe I didnt look deep enough into this MU.

They already showed us a Luigi combo in the video I think this is against the rules

uthrow -> uair -> meteor dair -> jab -> fsmash

Maybe even dsmash depending on DI

Instant uair is gonna be one of them If he even has it. Shield pressure with green missile depending on how much it bites on shield nevermind the punish. His fireballs might be faster then mario's.

Overall I think hes going to be a much better character then mario in general.


By movement options his dash might suck on shield and it has endlag so ground game with it will be jiffy unless its near the edge. I wonder if green missile will be safe on shield.

Combo game looks a lot like it does in Smash 4. I'm looking at you, down-throw. But it looks like he has his Melee fair judging by the hitlag and knockback, as to prevent cheap regrabs like in Sm4sh.

IDK, dthrow kinda looked more Melee-inspired.
