Phyiscally no, but you hear his voice eventually. I can't remember, but I think he's the narrator at the beginning actually.

Kratos appears, but only in a second playthrough. You have to go to the Tree (Yggdrasill) when Emil is alone before the kissing scene with Marta, then you will see somewhat of a hologram of him.

There were Unison Attacks in Dawn of the New World. Just not the same thing.
Dawn of the New World was my favorite due to how Emil played and the battle system. It's just more enjoyable playing the first one.
I also preferred the voice actors in the second game.

Lloyd sounded retarded. Genis's spells looked so... unexciting. The "Unison Attacks" were so complicated, and were pretty much only for Marta, Emil, and the monsters. Emil's style was... so modern. I mean, this game is chronologically before... Phatasia, I think.

Honestly, ToS2 < ToS in nearly everything.

Lloyd sounds better in ToS2 as he sounds more mature IMO. Genis's spells looked fine to me, really.
Oh, and this is just my personal opinion. Unless you're saying my opinion is wrong.

Yeah. You catch his buddy, Yuan talking to him. He also says it was his last transmission too, meaning that he's probably gone forever.

Also, apparently, he was the main narrator for both games... I've never noticed.

I prefer Lloyd sounding like Robin from Teen Titans any day over the ToS2 Lloyd.

I have actually played through both symphonias many times and I have to say that there are certain things that makes me like DotNW a little more than the original. Of course it has many flaws, but they dont bother me very much.

I also think that Luke being a replica was more of a twist.
