Lucas - Same as Falco
Veteran Fire Emblem character - Could be Ike and/or Robin, Roy and Lucina D-Tier
B Tier - I wouldn't hold my breath:
Rosalina and Luma - Not too likely, but ever since Comet Observatory was cut, you never know
Palutena - If Pit gets in, Palutena could be semi-likely
Shulk - Was highly requested, very popular
Olimar - Not very popular, but pretty important
Wolf - It could go either way
Bowser Jr. - Maybe
C Tier - Very unlikely:
Villager - Wasn't that highly requested but is popular in Smash 4
Wii Fit Trainer - Wasn't highly requested at all but, again, is popular in Smash 4
Duck Hunt - Same as WFT
Toon Link - Meehhhh, I doubt it
D Tier - Nearly impossible:
Dr. Mario - Cloney
Young Link - Cloney
Roy - Cloney
Lucina - Cloney
Dark Pit - Clone
Pichu - Cloney
Ivysaur - Very very unlikely, there's much better Pokemon reps to choose from
Squirtle - Same as Ivy

No offense, but most of the Sm4sh newcomers on that list were in games that came shortly before the SSF2 roster was finalized like Shulk and Paluntena (I know she was in the original KI game but she wasn't made popular until Uprising). Also, it was also finalized when Pac-man was still an assist trophy so i doubt he will make it in but this is just my thoughts. | | | | |

Roster was remade like in 2011-2012 or 2013.
He is still plausible

I myself dont find Shulk nor Palutena too likely, but it could happen. Pac-Man happened on stream, it seems legit, or the devs are just messing with us (which I find unlikely).

Ah well there is so much going on that I just can't predict who will make it in for sure.
In any case, I speculate the following
-Luigi
-Diddy Kong
-King Dedede
-Ice Climbers
-Pit
-Ganondorf
-Midna
-Falco
-Wolf or a Star Fox newcomer
-Mewtwo
-Lucario or a Pokemon newcomer
-Snake
-Knuckles
-Simon Belmont
-Cloud Strife
-Another Namco character (not sure for certain, but I'm hoping for Klonoa).
-Luffy (if not playable, then he will definitely be an official expansion).

Me neither, but I believe that they did it intentionally. If Pac-Man is in the game I hope that he's only half like he is in sm4sh and has some moves from the Pac-Man World series like His Rev-Roll, Butt Bounce and Metal Pac-Man. Fossil Fighter Frontier is about to come out, I think we'll see a rep from them. The series isn't really popular now, but neither was Chibi-Robo. I also Speculate Saki from Sin and Punishment and Ray MKIII from Custom Robo.

Smash 4 Pac-Man is way better than Crusade Pac-Man in my opinion. The Pac is actually one of my mains in Sm4sh, but Crusade Pac is just.... eh.

Crusade is good at adding characters quickly. But it's terrible at polishing them. Smash 4 Pacman would be a lot more fun to play as than Crusade's.

Exactly. The main reason why SSF2 is WAY better than Crusade is that SSF2 takes the time to polish up their characters and gameplay, while Crusade just feels rushed and hard to control too. Quality over quantity.

No, If we consider classic Pac-Man a different character than I can see them changing his side special to his Rel-Roll. Don't forget that the Roster was finalized in early 2013, so his moveset has already been setup. Maybe a few changes to his moves/phisics so that he plays more like sm4sh Pac-Man, but we cant expect him to have all his moves and everything from sm4sh in SSF2.

As for speculation:
1. I think we're going to get some more villains (too few atm)
2. Maybe another pokemon character like charizard, mewtwo or lucario (not expecting pokemon trainer)
3. Luffy (3 other anime/comic characters are here, why not him?)
4. Another LOZ character, like ganondorf
5. Luigi
As for what I want:
1. Mewtwo with good moves and such
2. Steve from Minecraft (Due to a joke with my friends that has something to do with megaman)
3. EXPANSION CHARACTERS AND SUCH
I really don't want any clone characters in the game, they just waste space for me

I don't think you can have a smash game without clones. I want to see clones, but not mirror clones. Falco and Lucas are both clones but I like them more than Fox and Ness(respectively). Clones are just as big apart of smash as any other unique character. Its not smash without Clones.
