yeah now that the aizen/espada saga is done, it's not that bad.
i was reading the fullbring arc and it was gay.
kubo should of just ended it... then the new chapter came out.
i shat myself... i got this feeling of hope...or something.
anyway ichigo lost his powers again -__- but then he got cool new soul reaper powers.
and for some reason it gave me deja-vu from the first arc, how exiting it was rukia, urahara and ichigo's dad appeared and gave him new powers... it was just awesome.
just when i was about to give up on bleach it pulled me back in....

yea.. STILL MAKES A HUGE PLOT HOLE ABOUT WHY XCUTION WAS ALLIED WITH GINJO ANYWAY

The nice touch was the parallels between the first chapters of Bleach and the one where Rukia re-appears.

What are you talking about? Bleach is SO unique! They actually kill the main character! Like 5 times! And they have a plushy doll as the mascot! And they use swords! Not to mention that spiky hair!

Just forget it, you can't expect every anime/manga to be unique. It's just not going to happen. Sure, there are a few, but for the majority they just abuse the template. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy them. Bleach is good at what it tries to be. It has some pretty tense moments and is pretty enjoyable as a series. You can't just dismiss Bleach and other good shows like; Kenichi History's Strongest Disciple, Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece and Yu Yu Hakusho, just because they re-use some stereotypes and have some similar qualities.

But you can make Kubo jokes because Kubo likes colouring his backgrounds white.

But Bleach is better in black and white
