It seems that the smash ball has been taken out. Is this only until all the new character final smash is added or is it a permanent change? I apologize if this have been said somewhere but I can't seem to find any info on it.

Smash balls were actually removed by the devs as a punishment to the community for making new threads for things instead of checking existing threads that already contain all the info they need.
