Yeah, it's pretty bad; I was playing demoman the other day and dominated 3 people (including a sniper who never ran away from me or my stickies). I was half asleep and got dominated by an enemy soldier.

Goes to show how good those three were eh?

What would your opinion be about restricted servers (servers you can only play after say, 10 hours or something)?

10 hours is not a really good restriction, given that once many players realize that idling will get them lots of hats and items they amass lots of "gameplay hours" really quickly.

Btw, I can set up a listen server for TF2 through hamachi. If anyone wants to, just bug me and make sure you have a few friends or we'll be playing with bots.

An MG server sounds cool. By the way how is everyone liking the new solider weapons? Some would consider them over powered but I like em'.

they're not overpowered, just too much better than the regular rocket launcher

I think I looked at the preview a while back. From what I can tell the comp scene is raging pretty hard over the giving solly a rail gun esque wep but lol dat beard

the thing the comp scene is angry about is that we rarely use engineer (except on maps like gravelpit) and since the lasers main drawback is its difficulty killing sentries, in a competitive setting the laser is pretty much a direct upgrade from the standard rocket launcher

It just a slower version of the rocket launcher. The only difference is that it has trouble taking out sentries. Witch is one of the main uses for the solider.

Soldier is the team's handiman. They do much more than take out turrets.

Although Snoble, how often are battle engis used/
