“Well, that pretty much got settled. Running some scans on the area behind the door…” Hailey says.

DM: An unkown distortion makes this rather impossible.

*OOC: Considering that distortion was one of the things she was checking for, at least that’s ONE victory.*

“Be careful. There’s an immense distortion energy coming from on the other side of that door. I might lose contact with you while you’re in there,” Hailey warns.

"How do we deal with something like that exactly? Any ideas?"

“Be prepared for anything and everything, because that is most likely what will happen,” Alexander says.

"Alright."

"Shall we go in then?"

Alexander nods, and heads onward.

Asayake promptly follows.
Upon entering the room, is is easy to see there are physical tears in space, and time, all of it emanating from a stone structure.

“If the item was stolen, how did it end up here?” Alexander thinks aloud.

"Perhaps it was already here..."

"No that's not possible, this would have happened long ago."

"That's a good question, probably contact will cause some nasty side effects."

“The problem is, though, that there is little we can do without coming into contact with it,” Alexander says, “As an experiment, I should try my fire, to see how it reacts.”

"Go right ahead... But if something goes wrong... I'm not sticking around to see it."

“Yes, it’s risky. But standing around here for too long doing nothing could also be bad,” Alexander says. He walks over hesitantly to the structure. He breathes fire at it from a distance.

It causes the stone structure to glow red.

“Hm…” Alexander waits, to see how long it takes to stop glowing.
