I have to say I agree. 2 had too much cutscenes and felt much more lineair compared to episode 1 and 3.

I will admit it was incredibly tough not trashing Georgie's club.

I try to be the good guy since my first reaction is usually not to kill and/or wreck s***. Pushing the peg through the wall was really tempting though (or breaking Ichabod's nose, for that matter).

It's not that satisfying breaking his nose anyway. There's a huge blood spray but not much actual blood streaming.

It was a good punch.

Also, something kinda irks me; when you investigate the hotel room in Episode 2, you can find a pack of Huff-n-Puff smokes, with Beauty commenting that she thought "Bigby was the only one smoking that brand." This, paired with Bigby's reputation in The Wolf Among Us leads me to think that eventually the Fabletown community is going to turn on him in the near future, since at this point Bigby is actually the perfect suspect;

-He hates Crane so he has a reason to frame him for the murder
-His brand of smokes was in the hotel room
-He was the last person seen with Faith (Toad and the Woodsman can testify)
-He has a motivation for being with someone glamoured like Snow (with the murder explained as being part of his violent nature as the big bad wolf).

I think that the fabels that you've supported or otherwise have been kind too (Mr. Toad, Snow White, Dee&Dum, Flycatcher, Narissa, Beauty, Bluebeard, Bufkin) will come to your aid during this. The next episode's title (A Wolf in Sheep's clothing) could refer to the Fabletown community feeling that the sherrif may actually be the killer.

That's a very intriguing and plausible theory. I think whether you burned the tree or not would determine Aunty Greenleaf's stance on your innocence.

Meh I don't think anyone would turn on Bigby. Most of the town likes him (if you took that path), so who would really turn against him anyway, aside from the obvious Bloody Mary and the Tweedles. The only one I could see really turning on Bigby would be Lee Bluebeard, but he's a dick and no one would side with him.
Those points also don't really put together well. Bigby doesn't necessarily hate Crane, or at least not before he became a suspect. In the town's eyes (at least Beauty's and Beast's) it would have been extremely hard to pull off a frame job of that magnitude without being a psychic. Bigby would have had to know Beauty worked at the motel and would follow him up to the room to even see the evidence that would frame Crane. The brand of smokes is hardly solid evidence, they're an optional pickup, Bigby would have to be a pretty s*** criminal to leave incriminating evidence behind, and no one other than Beauty, who likes Bigby, even knows the smokes were there. We don't technically know if he was the last one seen with Faith. Maybe she dropped by Georgie's club afterwards and was seen by a few of the other girls.

I think the title of the next episode probably refers to either Bigby being too weak to follow up on Bloody Mary or that others see him as not being able to do the job after his complete failure in the last episode.

Season 2 is as good as confirmed I'd say. Dunno if it'll be next year since they are already working on Borderlands and Game of Thrones then. I don't think I'll be checking out either of those so I guess I'll just replay Bigby Adventures again until then.

I'm going through again and playing the bad cop routine.

I never really noticed up until this episode how great the camera work in this series has been. When you take the Crooked Man to the Witching Well and you put him on trail, first there's a shot of him facing the crowd with the crowd's backs to the camera. When he starts to talk and turn the town against you, Bigby and Snow move to the spot he was in and the exact same shot happens, so it's like you're now the ones on trial. Super good. As for the big choices, I killed Georgie, threw the Crooked Man down the Well, and went after Nerissa. The ambiguous ending was really great
