Hello!

Current project: Shulk (I switch projects a lot but I'll be staying with this one hopefully because Shulk is amazing)

Charizard Smash type sprite thing.

Speaking of this Charizard, can someone help? I'm trying to get the one in the middle's eyes to match up to the one on the left. The one on the right is the original Emerald sprite and I'm having trouble making the Charizard's eyes go in the same direction without having the eye look different from the FRLG sprite. So blue pupil, black iris (yeah I know confusing)

Updated with preliminary Shulk sprites, the best SSB4 character :D

Don't currently have my 3DS so more poses for Shulk will have to stay on hold until I find a way to get them

That Shulk looks cool! It needs his eyes, mouth and all that but in general is pretty good. Try to work more in the shading, is a bit simple in the large aeras like the shirt.

Next time try to upload the preview of the animation, so viewrs can see how the animation actually looks.
For now is really good, It feels alive and can fit in SSF2.

As you can see, your sprite is a bit bigger that how it should be. Maybe you want to re-size it before continue it.

Well, the size is not an exact problem, because he can be resized in Flash.

Yeah, I was sort of conflicted about the face, but whenever I tried to add eyes it didn't look right. I could make the face bigger, but I kind of want to stay as close to the original as possible. Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place there :P

Haha, definitely not aiming to get my sprites into SSF2. Of course I'd really like Shulk to be in SSF2, and it would be super cool to have my sprites in, but I'm pretty sure I've got a very, very, VERY slim chance of having my sprites in that game.

Yeah, Shulk doesn't really move a lot in his idle stance, so I decided to make the Monado wobbly. Plus he sticks it to his hood with like Velcro or something, it's gotta wobble a little bit.

Do you see any other explanation? It's definitely either Velcro or double-sided tape.

UPDATE: Decided to mess around a little bit more with the idle stance. Made his right (our left) pant leg swish a little like the Monado, and updated some shading to be a bit more consistent-ish.

Doesn't really look like much but an animation would probably show some differences, don't have a way to animate myself so I guess I'll have to leave that to someone else :P

On other notes, 3DS is coming back tomorrow so I'll be able to work on more sprites! Whether I do do it is a completely different question, though.
