I still don't consider myself a great player right now atm, even though people keep telling me i am. I'm somewhat like you, always wanted to be the best at this. When i joined as soon as Zapperrix gave me tips on my Sheik i actually practiced non stop. I'm serious. Ever since that day (7 months ago) i practice non stop for five months. Improving my tech skill and reaction timing. My reaction were already fast so it wasn't too much of a problem. After people started giving me respect i practiced even more. And now, here we are, online. I only ever practiced against the computer so i have no experience against humans, so my tech skill is almost useless sometimes. The only thing keeping me alive is my reads. The only thing i feel i need is practice against human players and what to do/what not to do in an instant. Then i'll be perfect... The same thing could happen to you as long as you practice. Even if you have to go so far as to find out the width and height some attacks are and the distance they move you by. Guilty. As long as you practice you can become a good player. That's all it takes. As long as your goal is to win you have the right mindset.
