I used to imagine what it would be like if they did a Computer Virus type boss like they did in Kirby Super Star. Not necessarily a computer virus, but that rpg style boss fight. It could fit in a game like this seeing as how the SSE was pretty much modeled after Super Star. As long as it would be only 1 boss like this, it would be very interesting.

I wouldnt be able to imagine random wild pokemon battles being any different than the rpg style that they've set as standard. So if they have them, they should be rpg style-ish, to make them more like the pokemon series.

Who said there was a problem? If they still have stats then that style is still rpg, just action based. Im fine with either one.

Oh, I misread what you said then. I just don't think the stats would be as apparent, since the capture system wouldn't be there.

Anyway I'm basically in the same boat as Tid. That was not a great list of criticisms of something that has a bunch of terrible stuff, especially the not enough choices one. There are distinct advantages to having a more linear story and the attitude that every game needs to be mass effect jr and have a bunch of endings or plot choices or whatever is getting really tiresome.

I think a linear story is good for this unless you have two paths that actually matter. In SSE, what the f*** did you do, pick who won between Mario/Kirby and Meta Knight/Lucario? It wasn't really worth playing up to that point twice for.
