I concur. As much as I love Dasiy, there are plenty of better Mario reps out there. I'm specifically talking about Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr., Waluigi, Kamek, King K. Rool, Petey Piranha, and King Boo (**** Rosalina).

Nobody believes for a second that that poll ended fairly, and it's not like it was the Smash Ballot; its outcome wasn't going to affect anything. All he accomplished with it is stirring up even more animosity towards the character.

Actually that's a good idea Here's what we do; Make Sandbag his own unique character and replace the Sandbag used for Sandbag Soccer/Home Run Contest with Daisy
And then make Waluigi playable as the Mario Spinoff representative

^Luffy was the most highly requested character for a few years straight, which is one of the reasons why he's in the roster now.
I mean, there's no way I expect the same thing to happen to Daisy in a million years, but if many people ask for something and it's a good idea, chances are that it'll be at least considered.

RMM3's made the connection before, unfortunately, as soon as Luffy was revealed. ("Fan demand, huh...?") He doesn't seem to get, though, that there's a gargantuan difference between "hundreds of people asking" and "one person asking so damn much that it's as loud as hundreds of people".
