I guess it's probably because it's the only one I've ever played, and I feel most comfortable knowing I'm NOT going to be killed without being able to do anything and stuff like that. Either way, we have an advantage first day; the townies haven't planned anything out yet, but the mafia haven't, either. Probably. I think. /:

The best way to avoid a mis-lynch is usually to throw around random accusations and see how the people respond. Usually. So, I'm just gonna throw out a random accusation that doesn't have any evidence whatesoever.

I guess I'll just vote Kyuubit.

(Also keep in mind that this is completely unserious and I just want to see people defend themselves.)

Actually Tid, commonly, unless its a closed/newbie set-up (commonly 12 or less people in them too), the roles aren't revealed.
The only exception is epicmafia, which is a browser game.
I was planning on doing something anyway though.

Hmm I think that the mafia would want to skip the lych since lyching is one of the key ways that the town can win, but then again the mafia could use the lych to there favor so I'm still undecided.

I think we should not lynch today. There's no information at all. After all, most mafia games do begin in the night.

WP, you're throwing up more and more evidence that makes me think I should convict you. Wouldn't the mafia have the first person to convict someone, especially with such little evidence? I believe Kyuubit is innocent, despite the lack of defence, but when it comes to you, I'm beginning to think otherwise. I'm still not lynching today, but I have my eyes on you.

Last game, we were fortunate enough that the first day random lynch ended up ridding us of the serial killer. However, the odds of us getting that lucky once again are extremely low. A random lynching will almost certainly result in a townie death. In my opinion, it's not worth the risk.

DV, Warpanda voting Kyuubit, if he was Mafia, is risky at this point.
He hasn't been to a night meeting yet, so he doesn't know who his fellow mafia is.
On the other hand, a townie has no need to randomly kill someone on the first day so eh. I'm leaving my vote as non-lynch.
@Max: No that's not it either. In beginner matches, the roles are listed, in a more pro match, it's slightly different.
There are 4 different roles-lists shown, and we aren't told which one we are playing with.

I really don't want to spring for anyone right now, mainly for the reasons stated above. However, I will put out there that I do have a FoS on WP and Elipsisier. The fact WP's just throwing random votes out there for no reason is suspicious, but Elipsiser's pressing is fairly suspicious as well.

I personally think that this no lych option will only help the mafia win. On the first day of mafia your suppose to take a lucky guess and see if that person can defend themselves. Guys if we don't lych someone then things will only get worse on the town side after all the town only has one killing role. So I'm just gonna roll with WP train of thought. I Vote: Genis potter.

The town decides to wait for something to happen, after all, why would you hang someone if nothing has happened yet? That is what most of the town thought, or should have thought. They wait for night time, and hope for the best.
