I was thinking and I figured, "Hey why doesn't every one join in together and make an RPG everyone would play". How does this sound to everyone? This would require quite a bit of work to accomplish, but worth it in the end. I need input to see if people want to do this before doing to much work.

Gems sounds like a fairly good idea. I would suggest said gems granting special powers, though we would need to put in something to make sure that people of the same party don’t fight over them too much. Maybe have the gems include a disadvantage as well as an advantage.

Oh, I have an idea, on another note. We could include cards of some sort. Sorta like Lost Kingdoms.

You know, an RP based loosely on the Lost Kingdoms might actually work out quite well. Each person carries around one deck, carrying a certain maximum of cards (which, when activated, unleash an effect). They draw a certain amount of cards as their hand. Once they use up (or choose to discard) a card, it goes into the graveyard and a new card is drawn. Some cards can be used multiple times before being used up.

Maybe we can combine the gems and cards idea. Like, the gems you have and are using will increase your abilities in a certain way (which may or not pertain to your cards) and decrease them in other ways.

One other thing to consider is mana cost. Should we include a mana cost or some similar thing to use the cards? And should this be a stat-based or prose-like RP? I personally think the former would be an interesting change, as there has never really been a stat RP in RPB, and it would be interesting to see how that would work out.

I agree no stats, but the gems could hold spells or souls of fallen enemies. And chocolate is chocolate.

Also, speaking of rps, im currently working on one, so keep an eye out. (werebob, help with item list plox, also, a list of starting supplies may be good, kinda like the stalker rp.)

Stats is a no and so is a card system.
