Is Cleod-Bot in the credits?

No but the cleodbot joke/meme has ran its course anyway so most devs aren't interested in involving it in ssf2 any further anyway.

If Cleod-Bot doesn't exist anymore, just what the hell is Sandbag? (Please don't answer "he's a sandbag") And how does he fight? (Please don't answer "he does")

Also, how did you get the handicaps and stuff (2 stock for you, 1 stock for 2 opponents) to work on Events and is it possible to do so in normal games?

Sandbag is essentially our character representing Smash, which is why his moveset makes use of Smash-related concepts (like summoning capsules) or callbacks (Fox's old f-smash, wavedashing). He is just the Sandbag we know and love from Smash.

Actually involving cleod-bot would steer the character more into fan character territory, and that is something we never intended for the character or game anyway (which is why there are no references to the cleodbot joke in his moveset anyway). Having the entire character hinge on a meme that is bound to get irrelevant in a matter of time is usually not a good idea anyway.

That being said you fans are more than free to keep the Cleodbot lore alive in whatever way you seem fit.

The evolutions have a different knockback angles and stats.

We already had a bunch of interface screws in the pokéball roster and we decided that after a few times the 'windows crashed' joke kind of losed it appeal anyway (in addittion to some fans actually missing the joke completely and believing that ssf2 crashed their computer). Addittionally MissingNo is also technically not an official pokémon.

Why did you guys choose Sand Ocean as F-Zero's stage? Not saying I don't like it or anything, I've just personally felt that it seemed like a bit of a..."random" choice for F-Zero stage representation. Not to mention, that it feels like a number of F-Zero tracks could be used, and it doesn't feel like much would have changed...

For starters Big Blue, Mute City and Port Town Aero Drive were already covered by Smash. When it comes to F-Zero very few tracks actually have storyline importance, meaning that there is no obligation to stick to the quote unquote important or iconic tracks. Sand Ocean is one of the tracks/settings that had multiple appeareance within the games but more importantly it featured a setting/aesthetic that we hadn't feature much in SSF2 yet; desert. We also kind of wanted to break away from the 'future city' aesthetic the F-Zero stages in Smash has usually stuck too.

How did you decide what was going to be in Classic Mode? Was there anything removed?

Why did you give Sandbag a self bombing recovery instead of Bomberman? (Bumper would be a more safe but nonlethal recovery for Sandbag.)

Because it fits better with the intended design of Sandbag. He's a beast on stage but super weird off-stage, due to being unable to grab ledges and him having to hurt himself to recover.
