Now a couple months ago I started using AS3 after Tid gave me an awesome tutorial site. Even though the site is pretty good, it doesnt have enough variety for beginners like me to really learn much. there are 2 tutorials ONLY for beginners. I have learned, however, some basic yet major changes from AS2 to AS3:

Symbols cant hold Actionscript.
All AS must be in either a frame or a .as file.
instead if just a open bracket, { , there must be a :void before it. i dont get it, but hey...
now, Events are more than just stating onClipEvent(enterFrame/Load); its something like MovieClip.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME); -- basically, every event is actually stated stated as an event - with the word event before it.
hitTest's are now hitTestObject.
im not entirely sure how to use _root now, or refer to another frame, cause ive never seen it used.

As you can see im struggling. I cant just start at random googled blogspot sites, they dont help if I just jump into it. I need a detailed site thats not too complicated! I really want to learn AS3. its so smooth when its in play~!

I should have never used X2I's tutorial list. I need an as3 version of something like THAT.
