He was abandoned as a kid and has been able to educate himself and survive.

That'll do. No need to post stats because all characters start with 1 in everything. (There are 30 regular battles and 3 boss battles before the final boss so you will get max stats by the end of the game).

You might want to upload demonstrations of your basic attack and a technique now. All characters have a basic attack which improves (and maybe changes graphically) with Attack and start with a damage dealing technique.
You post them with a description and a demonstrative screenshot and I'll decide how much damage it does and how much SP it costs.
Same goes for future techniques including non damage dealing ones. I'll decide their effects from the description and give them costs accordingly.

P.S: I'm *cough* a bit sick now so *cough* and I have bigger *cough* exams coming up so things might be a bit slow. Don't worry though. Despite the *cough* slow speed, I won't permanently abandon this place unless people request it.

Wait, just A basic attack? Or basic attackS?

Stat wise it will be one attack but aesthetically it can be multiple. It will always deal the same damage depending on your Attack and the enemy's Defense. I you want it can change it aesthetically as Attack increases.
For example at 1 Attack a punch that does 1 damage, at 2 Attack, a sword slash for 2 damage, at 3 Attack, a 3 hit combo for 3 damage etc.
You can also use the previous weaker versions if you really want to.
Remember, as your speed increases, you will get more turns every round. You can do basic attacks in each and it will add up.
There can also be aesthetic changes to the same attack too. Like the 1 Attack one could be a punch, a kick, a weak spell or anything else.


TL;DR: It can be either or both. But only aesthetically.

Technique: Fire paunch(spelling error on purpose)

I say Fire paunch does 3 damage and costs 1 SP. The basic attack (combo) will start with 1 damage no matter what it is. As Attack increases it will do more damage. You may also change it's graphics after increasing Attack.

Sonario: Since it's your first battle, I'll let you post the first schedule. Your Speed is currently 1 so you get only 1 round.

Can you explain the schedule thing? Could never understand it.

Schedules are the turns you take in a round.

For example you have 6 speed and 3 turns and you have to post first. You post like this:
Turn 1: Basic attack.
Turn 2: Fire paunch.
Turn 3: Defend.

And then I post my schedule after analyzing yours like so:
Turn 1: Defend.
Turn 2: Basic attack.
Turn 3: Basic attack.

You might think posting your schedule first might be a complete disadvantage but it's not. The one who posts their schedule first has their turns happening first. So the order of turns will be:
1: Your Basic attack
2: My defense.
3: Your Fire paunch.
4: My Basic attack.
5: Your defense.
6: My Basic attack.

So both cases have advantages and disadvantages.

You have one turn right now so no need to worry. Just post what you want to do. I'd suggest the basic attack but you can use your technique too. I won't do anything this round so go ahead and post first.

Yeah, that's good. You might want to add the turn numbers once your speed increases though.

Hey, Ham, (can I call you that? Dihaiqal did) would you mind posting some quotes of your character? There would be quotes as responses for things happening like light damage, heavy damage, basic attacking, etc. I'll call em quotes.

Here's an example:
Sonario's Quotes:

Light damage: "Ow!", "Oof!", "Ugh!".
Heavy damage: "Yowch!" "Argh!" "Whoa!".
Defeat: "Urrghhh...", "Ah crud!", "I'm finished!".
Basic attack: "Take this!", "Ha!", "Yah!".
Technique: Depends on the technique.
