the website updated with Amiibo info so basically they are like little carry around smash-mon that you level up and use against your friends or yourself for a challenge

I like the red pallet better tbh. But I believe the 'main' pallet changes depending on region?

While this is true it isn't true for the website. R.O.B. is red and white on all sides of the site.

Have you guys noticed how the details change on the characters when you press start?

There's 2 models used, a higher res one for the pause menu is loaded for better screenshots.
If you go to training mode and change the speed to where it only plays when you hold L, than zoom in on the characters, you'll see it change when you hold L
