Us youtubers have been there, we make a great combo, yet we forget to record! I would like to see an option in the next update where you can save replays AND upload them to youtube via the game.

Unless you have a dinosaur PC that inexplicably runs SSF2. An inbuilt audio/video converter would be interesting.

That's actually a good idea! I've done videos about SSF2 and posted them to YouTube when I had a profile on my Windows 10 computer upstairs! You can check those out if you want! Here's the link to see the playlist!

as someone who spent years programming in AS3 (the programming language used for SSF2), i dont think the flash runtime (or AIR runtime for that matter) can handle recording like that.
replays in ssf2, in that case, must be "recording" every user's input each match, and saving that input data (just numbers and stuff) as a replay file.
when a replay is opened, SSF2 uses the replay input data to recreate the match in real time, except the computer is doing the input this time.
so it's literally a RE-PLAY and not just a recording.

in order for something like this to be made, someone would have to make an external recorder application and have the AIR runtime call that external application and run it while a match is going on, and then SSF2 could communicate with that external application so the video could be uploaded when you select the option in game. but then that would just be a screen recorder with SSF2 ties. and who knows what it would do for performance?

then again, ssf2 is pretty resource heavy anyway, so if you have a good pc then i guess thats not much of a worry.
really, its just up to cleod if he wants to make it i guess. sounds like a lot tho
