Stategy against Link?

don't let him get comfortable. don't let him set up camp
the longer you can stay in his face, the better, but don't get hit by moves that the Link player is just throwing at you in hopes of landing a hit to get you out of his face.
instead, realize that he might try that and punish his attempts.
that's the basic overview in my experience against Link at least.

But what do I do if he tries to spin alot. Normally when he spins and he misses I get some distance in the air and Down Special him. It works but I usually come up short and get hit while he's still spinning.

There are definitely better punishes. You can wait just outside the range of Spin Attack and then run in and grab him or stomp him as he completes the animation. In fact, if you shield the attack at any point, it can no longer hit you. So in theory, you could shield the beginning, drop your shield and then punish with Falcon Punch.

dair probably. the hitbox goes through a lot more recoveries easily
they're both situationally good tho

Strategy against Kirby?

Sorry if Im asking to much but I need some good a** help

Info: One that tries to get you with the down special and hammers all the time
Im good at dodging both of them but the hammers not some much

Stone can be beaten by shielding below where Kirby will land and jumping + aerial (knee or stomp is most effective, but bair or uair work too) if Kirby pops out above you. If Kirby hits your shield, just shieldgrab, down-throw, and hope you get something.

Hammers are tough: they aren't punishable on reaction, so you have to predict them or just evade them. You're WAY faster than Kirby. Use that to your advantage.

In neutral, I like dtilt, because Kirby can crouch to avoid aerials. Also you can mixup SH dair which is risky but will put the fear in your opponent. Jab is a good tool, and can kill at higher percents (practice jab -> usmash or jab -> knee). Avoid getting gimped offstage (avoid going offstage), and try to be in front of Kirby, where he can't bair you or dair you.

I'm sure Jammy or TAC3 can give you better advice, but I'd thought I'd give my two cents.

vs. Kirby - don't play falcon. for real, it's not worth it.
I just pick goku vs. kirby now, can't be arsed to deal with the s*** lol

if you can't be bothered to read, the short of it is:

• don't get gimmicked
• run away from every approach, punish mistakes
• never nair in neutral, it won't hit
• dtilt if they're grounded, uair if they're not
• don't bother edgeguarding

the MU doesn't feel like you're playing falcon to be honest. it's boring.
