There was a bonus dungeon in the GBA version of FFI where you could fight Gilgamesh...with the normal boss theme. IIRC Gilgamesh also appeared as a bonus boss in Final Fantasy VI for GBA...again with the normal boss theme.

The anniversary edition of FFI had CotBB for Gilgamesh as well as FFV boss theme for Atomos, Omega and Shinryu, the other bosses from FFV in that dungeon. However anniversary edition had special boss themes for every bonus dungeon bosses. FFIII for earth, FFIV for fire, FFV for water and FFVI for wind.

It's the same way in Dawn of Souls (the FFI/II remake for GBA), sans Battle on the Big Bridge. Which reminds me, I really should do those bonus dungeons...

I sure hope Lightning has the Ocarina of Time. Otherwise, I'm screwed.

Well considering the way XIII-2 ended, why the hell wouldnt they have a XIII-3?
Wait... Rewinding the actions of battle expends time on the doomsday clock? WTF how does that make sense. Thats like saying using the Song of Time in Majoras Mask to rewind time gives you less time before the end of the world.

The doomsday clock could just be absolute. Like I don't know, rewinding a movie sets it back, but it won't stop that you had to take a few real life seconds to do so.

True, but isnt rewinding the events of a battle the same as rewinding time itself?

...The f*** is this anymore? You're telling me in the course of 3 and a half years, Square felt the need to make an entire TRILOGY out of the most controversial and least regarded game in the Final Fantasy series, and yet... - In that same time they couldn't be bothered to make a third full game, or even a port, of their wildly popular fangasming crossover Dissidia games -They continue to leave Final Fantasy VII with an open ending after promising more and failing to do more in FOUR years -It has now been 12 YEARS since IX, the game development said would be best for making a prequel or sequel -And it's been nearly TWENTY years since one of their best received and loved games, Final Fantasy VI, AND YET STILL NO REAL REBOOT OR SEQUEL IN SIGHT!
