It's been 20 years? Really? Wow, I've never knew The Simpsons would stay this long.

With over 21 seasons and 451 episodes, The Simpsons has become the Longest Running Prime Time series on television. And it is still running! I've been loving this show ever since I could remember. Hell, I loved it before I started loving anime.

Oh wait...Did you hear that?

The new opening has too many gags... They really over did it. They should've kept it the way it was.

But hey, at least it's now in HD.

I never said I watched it from the very beginning...

I'm just surprised that the Simpsons were on air for a very long time. Of coarse I didn't see it from the start.

You would have to be born in like 1970's if you wanted to understand and watch The Simpsons from the very beginning.

Not really, just remember what made the news at the time of the episode you want to see. 2000? Y2K. Anywhere in the 90s? Gulf War. I personally don't think that The Simpsons have gotten worse, but more that most people have grown out of the period that requested the humor they provide, myself included. I can see myself returning to it when I have kids of my own, as it's one of the few comedy shows that I can imagine both children and adults enjoying.
